How we handle
your information.

Here is how this website works today. This notice covers the public pages, enquiries, and sample interactions; it does not describe a released Milkypad platform.

Exploring the examples

The interactive previews use prepared sample content. Selecting a map, switching a view, or filtering an example runs in your browser. These controls do not request a live satellite analysis or upload your data.

Fonts, images, and the scripts that run these previews are served with the website. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept analytics, as explained below.

Optional website analytics

You can choose whether to allow Google Analytics on this public website. We do not load Google’s analytics script or send analytics events before you accept. Declining analytics does not affect your ability to browse the website or submit an enquiry.

If you accept, Google Analytics uses pseudonymous identifiers stored in cookies to help us understand page visits and count successful contact and early-access submissions. Analytics includes page paths, the referring website’s origin where available, and technical information such as browser and device details. Page addresses and referrers sent to analytics exclude query parameters and fragments. A successful enquiry event records the form type only; it does not include your message, email address, name, organization, or other form answers. We disable personalized advertising features.

Your analytics choice is saved in your browser’s local storage for up to six months. If that storage is unavailable, we try to remember a withdrawal for the current browser tab; otherwise the choice can only apply to the current page. Analytics cookies are configured with a maximum lifetime of six months. These browser storage periods are separate from the retention of data already sent to Google Analytics, which is controlled by the settings in our Google Analytics property. Google processes analytics information under its own privacy policy.

To change your choice, select Cookie settings in the website footer. If you withdraw permission, we stop analytics, delete the Google Analytics cookies accessible to this website, and reload the page. Withdrawing permission stops future collection; it does not automatically erase information already sent to Google.

Sending an enquiry

When you submit the contact or early-access form, we save your email address, your message, and any optional details you provide, such as your name, organization, role, preferred outcome, and project context. We also save a reference number, submission time, and review status.

These details are stored in the website’s Cloudflare D1 database and are available to authorized Milkypad team members in a protected inbox. We use them to review your question and respond. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing emails. The form does not send an automatic email acknowledgement.

Enquiries remain in the inbox until the team deletes them; automatic expiry is not currently enabled. Write to info@milkypad.com to ask about, correct, or request removal of your enquiry. Include its reference number if available, and avoid sending sensitive information in your initial message.

Copies and email alternatives

The save-copy option creates a text file on your device. Downloading a copy does not submit the form. The email option opens a draft in your chosen email application; that email is sent only when you send it there, using your email service.

Unsaved form text is not written to browser storage by this website. Your browser or email application may offer its own autofill or draft-saving features. A downloaded file remains on your device until you remove it. Some example and pricing links prefill the enquiry form with a brief carried in the page address. That address may remain in browser history or hosting logs.

Protecting the forms

To limit repeated submissions, the website uses your IP address to create a keyed, time-specific rate-limit counter. The form database stores that derived key, a count, and an expiry time, rather than your raw IP address. Expired counters are cleared when a subsequent submission is processed.

The administration area uses Cloudflare Access to verify authorized team members. Its authentication cookies are separate from the public website’s sample interactions.

Loading pages and following links

Like any website, loading a page sends a request to its host. A host may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser details, and the requested address to serve the page and operate its infrastructure.

Links to reference materials and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. We do not load their pages into these previews.

Platform accounts and data

Accounts, project uploads, billing, and live analysis are not provided through this public website. Before those services collect information, their data handling, retention, service providers, and contact details will need to be described in the applicable privacy notice.
